And if you are one who doesn’t love doing the dishes, then you have a good reason to visit this restaurant. Magic Plate Kitchen Restaurant is a hidden gem in Kilimani, with friendly staff, and pocket-friendly meals ranging from githeri to ugali… This restaurant has made its name big because of what they offer (local foods) I mean where else in Kiliman will you find such a beautiful restaurant that offers githeri? They used to have crazy offers on meals, buy food 350ksh and above and get fresh juice of your choice free, not sure if the offer is still there. My favorite was cold passion fruit… Having tried different food menus I can recommend a few. Their thick and hearty beef stew is accompanied by beef and rice and it is very savory, you can try!

I have visited magic plate kitchen twice and was very impressed, especially during the second visit. The menu was very well-designed, and it was easy to read. I tried the pan-fried fish served with ugali and tartar sauce. The food had great flavor combinations and balance. The ambiance was good, and the service was excellent. I find the magic plate kitchen to be better than some of the restaurants I have been to! I highly recommend the restaurant, and I fully intend to return in the future.
