254 Brewery is located in the residential quarter of Kikuyu, just off the Nairobi-Naivasha highway. There are signboards leading visitors. I was there at the official opening a few days ago. The brewery is in operation since September 2019. There are 12-13 different beers available, in kegs and bottles. It is hoped that many beer lovers will patronize this new brewery and I being one of them have already taken the step. The décor is honestly really simple and inviting to anyone new who comes to the place. As you know that beers go hand in hand with meat and the nyama was well cooked with a touch of kachumbari on the side. I enjoyed it as I tried different types of beers. The ambiance is just so nice and chilled you drink a beer and forget your problems. The bartenders are interactive and swift. Within a flash and you have your drink in your hand. Man, I enjoyed the whole evening and I’ll surely return.
