40 forty Lounge is located on Westland Rd, Nairobi, Kenya. I went there for dinner with my friend on Friday, and the experience we got was beyond our expectations. The ambiance is very nice, great, and modern. The service was excellent, and the staff was helpful and polite. It is a place for incredible drinks, great meals, good music, and a fantastic view of the Westland town from the bar. I would say that this Lounge is the perfect spot to enjoy yourself. Once you get in, you are greeted by a friendly staff who comfortably guide you to your place of choice. We were given the menus and decided to try on burger and chips, BOGOF for Ksh 1000. The burger was terrific. It was cooked properly and had all the condiments you could want. I probably enjoyed it more than my friend. The happy hour drinks are fantastic, with a good combination of different flavors.

40 Forty can be described as an upscale and cozy rooftop lounge with a high-end finish ambiance coupled with a club but relaxed sitting arrangement. You can pop in for an all-around international cuisine fused with really great drinks. I’d advise that you go there if you’re getting alcoholic drinks but if not it’s not all that nice. The music is great, a good enough crowd but can get crowded at around 8 pm so it’s hard to get a table. So you’d better get in earlier. The prices are quite reasonable for the drinks and food you get. But the staff are a bit slow at times although it’s a busy place at night. I’d advise that they tell the customers if something is up to clear any misunderstanding that may occur. Disappointing factors aside, it’s a pretty decent nightlife hangout. Also, their chicken wings are out of this world.
