No meal is quite complete without something decadent and indulgent. About Thyme’s signature dessert and their most famous wicked indulgence is their irresistible Sticky Date Pudding, an old-fashioned sticky date pudding served piping hot, smothered with thick toffee sauce with walnuts & a scoop of vanilla ice-cream (Kshs. 750/=).

With just the right amount of sticky sauce, date flavor which is not over the top, and a dollop of cold creamy vanilla ice-cream, this has to be my all-time favorite dessert. The hot and cold combo is to die for, however, this dessert is not something I’d have all the time as it’s quite sweet but for an occasional treat it’s perfect.

2.) Salted Caramel Banana Popcorn Sundae served in a decorative, sharing sized sundae glass. This decadent sundae delivers the best of salty, sweet, creamy, and crunchy all in one bowl. It’s a sweet, salty concoction of vanilla ice-cream, salted caramel sauce, fresh bananas, and caramel popcorn (Kshs. 750/=). So delightful.

3.) Burnt Orange Bread & Butter Pudding-served hot with whisky crème Anglaise (750/=). A soothing, deep, and warm dessert that I totally loved. About Thyme is a tranquil, cozy, restaurant that is perfect for a fine dining experience in an intimate setting. It’s best for date nights.
