Memories! Memories! Memories!!This place was my first love thanks to those high school visiting days. My dad used to buy the bucket and chips so that whenever some remains, I sneak them in to school bcz nani angetaka kukula githeri in the evening for supper 😄. I haven’t been to this specific branch but I am sure that the taste is the same throughout all their branches. My review will be based on me visiting their Westlands,Ngong Road,Mountain view mall and Nakuru branch. As you know, this is a famous Chicken joint found in the most convenient places esp Petrol stations and you may have spotted one or two along your way home. Their menu comprises of Rotisserie chicken(ksh. 350-1000),chicken pieces (ksh.120-1100),burgers (ksh.400-700),value meals(ksh.150-350). I have to commend these guys for being affordable and having generous portions. My go to is the chicken burger (400/=) and their combo meals (2 pieces and chips for 350/=). A big hurrah to them for saving us during the KFC chips drought😁..though it’s not like their fries were 100% the best😌they were really struggling to keep up with the many orders. I should also mention that over the years, their quality has kinda slacked..alafu bei pia zimeongezeka kidogo (I blame gvt though 🥲). I don’t know why nowadays they also oversalt their kuku..they don’t balance the spices in the flour vizuri. Alafu sometimes the chicken is not properly cooked through and through. This place is perfect for everyone, even better for kids bcz they have a great play area. Some branches even have bouncing castles but on Sundays though. They have “offers” but they totally fake (kwanza the ones plastered on bill boards) bcz when you go to the actual price menu and do the math of the meal…it amounts to the same price. You go see for yourself thank me later. The actual offers are on Jumia and Glovo apps. I can’t wait to go back and try their new special – sticky wings 😋
