Diani Place

I had always wanted to visit Diani for the longest time, but for some reason, I would find myself postponing. I remember one Monday morning I decided to explore Diani hotels and apartments via the internet before making my mind, why lie! I was spoilt for choice, for a moment I could not make a sobber decision where I wanted to spend three days two nights. One thing that caught my eyes when I bumped into Diani Place was the name, at the back of my mind I knew I wanted a place home away from home, and this was it. I immediately dialed the number that was provided on the website, it rang once and the second time a lady by the name Reginah answered, I was taken away by her warm reception, I knew right there I wanted to go to Diani Place. I made all the necessary arrangements for booking and the following day I was set to go. Why I loved Diani Place was because from the airstrip it’s only a 5min drive, the beach is 100meters, the town centre is 200meters… everything you may want was around you. Upon arrival, Reginah was there to welcome me, she was more excited than I was lol! her warm welcoming smile as she gave me some cold pineapple juice was a confirmation of what I heard when we first talked. She took me to my apartment made sure I was okay, gave me the history of the furnished apartments. I was more than happy to be home away from home, the apartment was so clean starting from the main entrance gate, the towels and beddings were smelling so fresh! the toilet was sparkling clean!.. since it was almost lunch hours I was excited to make my lunch booking and try out something new. Yes! if I wanted I could cook for myself since it was furnished, but there was no way I could do that especially if it’s a holiday! Reginah introduced me to the chef, he was so kind to walk me take me through their Menu, I wanted to try any seafood they had, but I was skeptical, he assured me that I was going to love whatever I chose. I went for prawns, my ooh my! the prawns were so delicious I was served with rice. After an hour of relaxation, I decided to swim, their swimming pool was clean and the water was warm. This made me love Diani Place more!
