DIMESSE SISTERS is located in Nairobi, Kenya.The Sisters Dimesse Daughters of Mary Immaculate were founded in Vicenza in 1579, under the name of “Company of Dimesse” or “Company of the Madonna”, valley Friend. In 1558 He became less Franciscan friar and participated, in 1562 as a theologian, the last sessions of the Council of Trent. From the 1565 Vicenza collaborated for the implementation of the decrees of the Council. Here he founded in 1579 The “Company of Dimesse” (The name “Dimesse”, much in use at a time when the Institute was born, means “humble – small”). He died in the odor of sanctity 4 January 1589, in Vicenza. The mortal remains of the Venerable Father are now kept in the Franciscan convent of San Pancrazio (WE)
