The Evangelical Alliance of Kenya (EAK) is the national Umbrella organization for evangelical churches in Kenya. It was established in 1975 as the Evangelical Fellowship of Kenya under the auspices of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA). AEA is a member of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) which has over 650 million members globally, the second-largest Christian umbrella body in the world.
The Alliance currently has a membership of 380 denominations most of which have a national presence that is spread throughout the country. The total membership of the evangelicals in Kenya is estimated at 12Million in about 40,000 congregations.
