Hyrax Hill Prehistoric Site & Museum

This is a beautiful prehistoric site located in Nakuru country 10 minutes from the town center. It is the ideal place to take the family during the weekends or for school trips. The entrance fee is KES500 for adults and KES100 for kids. When you get to the site, you first notice the picturesque view of Lake Nakuru from the hilltop. Every time I go there, it blows me away. There are several activities to take part in including hiking on a beautiful nature trail, camping, and exploring the artifacts in the museum. I especially like the nature trail up the hill. This is a great activity for team building. I also like that the museum is in a bungalow as compared to the other museums which are usually huge. This one feels homey. If you are in Nakuru, you should make a point of visiting this place.
