Jewel Stone Hotel

This is one of the few hotels I’ve been to in parklands and I have to appreciate its class. It’s located some 10 minutes from Nairobi CBD and a cab cost about kes 250. The circumstances surrounding my visit to the hotel weren’t the best but it left an impression. We were visiting a patient at Aga Khan Hospital. It’s got late and we decided to find a place to eat considering no one would be in the mood to cook dinner. We were directed to jewel stone. Now this place looks amazing at night. The warm lighting all around plus that on the pool make it look spectacular. We couldn’t sit on the terrace coz of the cold but I’d love to. There were a few customers so the service was fast. I had pasta which wasn’t that great but at least I got to enjoy the ambiance and not sleep hungry. I’ll make a point of revisiting.
