This is the perfect spot for a weekend gateway. It’s a cabin in the middle of nowhere with an amazing view. If you are looking to unwind and reset, this is the go-to place. It is located some 35 minutes from Nakuru CBD and a cab costs about kes 700 from the CBD. When you get to lord Egerton castle, it’s a small distance further. I went there a while back with my partner and the experience was one of a kind. The welcome was pleasant and we got a seat at the terrace next to the garden. The decor is rustic and I especially liked that they had such unique items for lights had flower pots. It’s very green and the air feels different, cleaner in a way. There were several people there, some playing games on the lawn, other riding horses while some sat on hammocks drinking beer. We were conversing and laughing till late into the night. I’m must go back one of these days.
