Hidden Gem along Naivasha Road (Dagoretti Corner
Laikiana Resort is a hidden gem conveniently situated on Naivasha road 7.2 km from the center 100 meters from The Junction. Many people mistake this place because of its surroundings, I mean it’s in the smack of a bus station. As you enter this resort you are welcomed with the fresh aroma of various types of meat the staff is frying. The interior decor of this hotel is made up of pallet woods, I can attest its well down making the resort look unique. One can decide to sit at the restaurant or in their garden which is well designed for outdoors and anyone who may want to smoke. I was privileged to meet the manager Francis who took me around the resort before I settled to have my lunch. I had no idea they had accommodations until I was taken to them, In fact, if you enter you may not notice because the accommodation space is well hidden and the gate is different from the main entrance. The beautifully lawned grace of the accommodation compound is something you don’t see often, especially since they are exposed to dust and noise. Their services I would say are affordable 6ksh bed and breakfast for VIP SUIT. Their rooms are clean and well maintained and spacious. For the convenience of the guests, the reception desk works round the clock. There is a terrace available – a recreation zone for the guests. Anyone can use room service and get food and drinks right into the room. Whether you want to have a meal, relax, or arrange a business meeting, you may do this at the restaurant. Family rooms differ in size and are a nice choice for a vacation with children. The car parking is free with lots of space. After a few minutes, I went to the restaurant to order… I have been to this place twice and the first time I remember I ordered their dry fry with ugali and kachumbari , and the second time was chips with samosa. Food prices are very affordable and delicious from as low as 150ksh. You can count on their services for fast, smooth, and easy delivery done to your table. During weekends they always have a bouncing castle for kids at no cost. You can enjoy your nyama as you watch your kids play and other
