The reserve has a magnificent collection of wildlife
Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved Savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos. In addition, wildebeest cross its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has a grassy plateau and rolling hills intersected by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is flecked with villages of Maasai people. There are several thrilling activities one can enjoy in Masai Mara. The most exciting of these has to be the hot air balloon that lasts for about an hour as you drift gracefully over the African Savannah, overlooking the exquisite wildlife below. Another popular adventure is visiting a traditional tribal Maasai village which permits tourists a fascinating understanding of the famous Maasai’s unique way of life. Nature walks, bush meals, etc. are other popular things in Maasai Mara national reserve. I visited Maasai Mara for two days, and everything was great apart from the internet connection, making it hard to receive or make a phone call. The food and the drinks provided by the Camp were delicious. The staff working at the Camp is friendly and helpful. The tour guide was professional and amicable; he answered all the questions we asked and told us about the park’s history, which was great.
