One of a kind swimming facilities
Having visited Moi International Sports Centre many times now known as Safaricom Indoor Arena, my memorable moment was when Kenya was playing with Egypt and the final Continental Tour Meeting of 2021. As a lover of sports, you can expect me here whenever there is something interesting., The stadium is frequently used for international matches and professional soccer games. Approximately 12kilometeres from CBD, you will find this stadium strategically located along Thika Road. This multi-purpose is the largest stadium in Kenya, aside from the VIP lounge and hospitality suites it seats up to 60k people, similarly, the sports complex boasts of other crucial services such as modern changing rooms, mini shops, a restaurant, internet hot sports, press and media areas, 6 conferences rooms each with a capacity of 60 people. The stadium has one warm baby pool and one Olympic size pool with diving platforms and springboards. The aquatic complex is the only swimming facility with multiple pools for different age groups and different levels of swimming abilities. Toddlers start at the baby pool with careful guidance from their qualified instructors. Besides the well-maintained pitches both Kasarani and Nyayo stadium features tartan running trucks for both local and international athletic meet. The track is also open to members of the public for jogging and personal training at an affordable fee.
