We are a leading Afro Latin dance company in Kenya. Nairobi Dance Project was founded by Dan Ombok and Allan Korir in the year 2016, as an initiative of the Dance for Charity Foundation.
Since its inception, NDP has cultivated and nurtured a community of professional dance instructors, performers, competitors, students and AfroLatin music and dance enthusiasts across Africa, by providing opportunities for training, performance and collaboration.
“To share the gift of music and dance”
We believe in the power of music and dance in improving the quality of life of people around us. We ascribe to the belief that through music and dance, people from all walks of life are able to build self-esteem, discipline, teamwork and social skills that they will carry all through their lives.
“To grow a dancing community”
In the African culture, there is music and dance for all seasons; it brings people together, during births, initiations, weddings and funerals. In our vision to grow a dancing community, we are inspired by the belief that a community that sings and dances together is a community that cares. We are committed to growing a generation of social and professional dancers who can apply the gift of music and dance to make positive changes for themselves and others.
