Nairobi Tented Camp

This beautiful camp is located deep within a riverine forest minutes from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Wilson Airport and the city of Nairobi. You are so close to the city yet so far. It is an authentic tented camp in the heart of the Nairobi National Park. You can experience the thrill of camping in the heart of thick bush land right at the door step of the capital city. The camp consists of nine guest tents, each accommodating two people. Each tent has its toilet and shower, so you can enjoy the luxury of en-suite living 'safaris style', with hot water heated over a log fire and brought to your shower when ready.

It is the first accommodation to be allowed in this unique safari destination. The Nairobi Tented Camp is the only camp in the Nairobi National Park. The Nairobi National Park is a unique ecosystem by is the only protected area in the world close to a capital city. The park is located only 7 km from Nairobi city center.

The meals at Nairobi Tented Camp are crafted to complement the authenticity of the safari experience. All meals are served on a set menu basis, with warming, hearty breakfast in the morning, light, refreshing lunches served under the shade of an olive tree, and dinners of soufflés and tender beef fillet served under the star-filled sky. Everything at Nairobi Tented Camp is homemade and cooked with special care and attention. Please let us know when booking if you have any special dietary requirements. Ice cold drinks are available from the fully stocked bar in the central mess tent.
