Nakuru Hills Special School is a public boarding school for persons with mental and physical disabilities of ages 6 – 25 years. It is situated on the Northern side of Nakuru Town, off Nakuru Ravine Road .It boarders the G.K prison. It is about 3km from the town centre. The school was started in 1978 in a classroom provided by the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru. The school is now a mixed boarding school with an enrollment of 185 students- 105 boys and 80 girls. They come from all over the republic of Kenya.
