Affordable and reliable.
This is a veteran hospital in Nakuru. It’s been there for as far as I can remember and is still the first choice for many who go to public hospitals. It’s located some 10 minutes from Nakuru CBD which makes it very convenient. It’s not at all fancy, an old building but well maintained. It’s also very compact as compared to other hospitals. Regardless, it is a level 4 hospital that accepts NHIF as payment. I am yet to hear a negative comment about it. A good number of the nurses are a bit elderly but there’s something about elderly nurses that radiates motherly care. They are one of the best when it comes to maternity which speaks volumes about the care the staff offer. I know of a good number of mums who’ve given birth here. It makes me think of the saying “old is gold.”
