Nyali Cinemax

It is located on Nyali Road, Mombasa. We went here with a friend some time back and loved the whole experience. I liked that it doesn’t get packed even during the evenings. The theaters are also not full therefore enough space for some privacy. Their staff is helpful and friendly. You know how friendly the coast people are. We selected our movie and got some snacks. They sell a range of snacks including but not limited to popcorn, potato crisps, ice cream, and sodas. I recommend their caramel popcorn. It was so good we had to get more. The sound in the theater is crazy good. It made the movie so much better. They sell the 3D glasses for KES100. The prices for the tickets vary depending on the movie and the time of day. Best cinema experience in Mombasa for sure. It’s a good place to bring kids too since they also show children movies

Nyali Cinemax is located just a few minutes drive from Mombasa Town. The theater is the only one in Mombasa. It has ample parking space and strategic location with diners like big square and Bollywood bites. It is simply convenient for an evening refreshment, shopping and a movie of course. I have been there several times and I loved the fact that the place is not packed with people because it’s very spacious which makes the movie experience more enjoyable. It has that wow effect upon entering. They have a variety of snack shops which serve an array of snacks from popcorn, potato crisps, drinks, and more. Their caramel popcorn is the best I’ve had, I would highly recommend. It has a good quality sound system and the screen is big enough. 3D glasses are available too at 100 KES. I loved the ladies washrooms too, there are these really great photos of actors mounted all over giving you that movie feeling. The support stuff and attendants are very helpful, for first timers too. It is a great place to visits with friends and family. I can’t wait to go back for that movie experience again!
