The meat tasted stale.
This is a beautiful spot in Ruiru. Its ambiance is one thing you don’t expect in Ruiru and I suppose that’s why so many locals like it. I have been there once and I don’t think I’ll be back. We were looking for a hotel to swim in along Thika road and Olive Green happens to be close by. So we drive there and at the gate, the guard tells us that the water is “bad” So we say we’ve come to eat. The space looks amazing. A lot of lawn area for kids to play plus bouncing castles. We get to the receptionist who says we can swim. The pool is sizeable and we had fun but then comes the meat. We settled on having nyama choma but it tasted stale. I was disappointed but at least I swam.
