The pizza-making process seems like it may be an easy one at a glance but under the surface lie heaps of intricacies that make it as much of a science as it is an art.
In order to repeatedly produce a quality pizza, the ‘Pizzaiolo’ must use a scientific approach to the ingredient quantities and preparation. However, they must also act intuitively, as after all, once the dough starts levitating, it is very much alive.Â
