Trying something new.
This spot offers the authentic taste of Thailand. This was honestly my first taste of Thia food and I wonder why it took me that long. The restaurant is located some 15 minutes from Nairobi CBD and a cab cost about kes 300. I was meeting up with my cousin for lunch. He suggested I try something new from a restaurant he loves. The restaurant is small. Just a handful of tables, they are not big on decor but what they’ve missed on decor, they’ve compensated with the food. My cousin makes the order for me, some pad se ew which has chicken, a lot of greens and rice noodles. My first bite was a bit reluctant but the flavors hit me light lightning. The owner is also the chef and at some point came to ask how we liked the dish. How courteous. The food is affordable, ranging from kes 400 to kes 1000. If you want to try out Thai food, this is the place.
