St Anne’s Girls’ Secondary School was founded in the year 2010 to meet the rising demand for a girl’s school in the locality. The school is Catholic sponsored, and the initial founders were the sisters of Mercy Missionaries.
Registration status
The school was registered by the Ministry of education in March, 2010\ as a girl’s day secondary school. Currently it has evolved into a full boarding girl’s school with an enrolment of 450 girls.
Management
The first Board of Management was inaugurated in June 2010 with the chairman as Dr. Andrew Makanya as the Chairman. In 2016, the Board was reconstituted with the current chairman Mr. Julius Osoro taking over the mantle of management in the institution.
