The have the most lovely lighting when it gets dark.
The other day while I was coming from school, my partner calls me saying that she’s at this beautiful restaurant and we should have dinner there. It’s a small distance from the root I use so I just had to alight from the matatu and walk a small distance. Otherwise, it’s located some 20 minutes from Nairobi CBD and a cab costs about kes 450. I get there and immediately get drawn in by the decor. The wooden walls and floors contrast to the roof and tables which are matte black. They also have the most lovely lighting which I appreciated as it got dark and the setting becomes more intimate. I also noticed that they have a playing area for kids so I’m sure families are fond of this restaurant. I found her seated and had already placed the order, Sekela Chicken Tikka with Naan and chips masala. It was a good meal and it costs less than kes 2000 for both our dishes. You should visit.
