This is one Instagram-worthy hotel. From the waiting area, the restaurant, and the coffee spot, the design and decor are a sight to behold. The hotel is located along Milimani road, some 10 minutes from Nairobi CBD, and taking a cab cost about kes 250. Not too long ago, I had a meeting over breakfast at the Basasha coffee shop and it’s was delightful. The hotel’s architecture is a marvel. They have a Swahili theme and you know how beautiful Swahili architecture is. Walking past the reception, you can’t fail to notice the effort put into the decor. There’s this waiter who even offered to walk me to the coffee shop where the guy I was to meet was waiting sitting comfortably on these couches they have there. They also serve a mean cappuccino. This is a must-visit if you’re in Nairobi.
