Thomson’s Falls/Nyahururu Falls

Thomson’s fall is located in the Nyahururu suburbs. It is accessed by road and is a 4-hour drive from Nairobi. The fall is almost 74 meters. There is a hotel near the fall where you can go and have something to eat. Day visitors have to pay the fee, and then you own your own. The narrow path engages with the river flowing on the left and the green vegetation on the rocky cliff on the right. You will see the waterfall from top to bottom as you approach the viewing platform. It’s also possible to walk to the base, but it will take more time because of the muddy walking path and the water flashing from the fall. Nevertheless, the view is magnificent, and the fall is lovely. As one approaches the fall, there are points where one can have a dip in the river and enjoy the natural surroundings.
