When you hear the word Java you might think it's just about coffee and breakfast things but no., Java has a variety of things on their menu . You can have breakfast at Java you can have lunch there and you can also have dinner at Java so you see it's not all about Espresso, chocolate or tea. This specific Java I had my espresso for breakfast and burritos I was trying out new things I loved it there. My breakfast burrito was egg and cheese it had my favorite avocado in it and it was yummy. Because I enjoyed the breakfast I went for lunch pia the same day. I love chicken wings and ordered those spicy wings and fries. The good thing you is that the attendants or staff are there when you need them. Java again is well spaced it's neat. You can pick your corner in the evening order some tea and just chill and vibe to the ambience. I love the color they choose for Java. I'd love to go back and get that espresso it was good
Textbook center, don't let the name make you think it's just only for books. They deal in a lot of products. Office Stationery. School Stationery. Desk Items. Exercise Books. Files & Binders. Markers. Note Books & Diaries. Those are just a few. They also have computer accessories. I've been to the one at Galleria mall and when you see galleria mall you'll know there's parking there. The staff were helpful when I was looking for a few things within the store. It is a good place to shop for stationary and school text books. Wide variety of stationary and books especially for children. Text books for international schools also available. They can make orders from international publishers if need be. Good parking space secure. Eateries available just next to it and other retail shops. Textbook center is spacious and clean. You get a lot of stuff under one roof with tbc
If you one day need good Swahili food within the CBD then Kilimanjaro Jamia is the place to be. Just opposite Jamia Mosque you'll find the restaurant. I'm a huge fan of chicken biryani and that's what took me there but they serve a whole lot different types of food and drinks. I noticed that this place one thing they do is impress their customers. They waiters are quick and food doesn't take long and when The food is brought on your table you'll smile because it's in quantity and when you try that chicken biryani you'll feel the quality of that food. It's finger licking sweeeeet. I don't know if the lady named faith is still there because it's been a while since I went back but if you do look for her. She served me well. I would love to go back for that chicken biryani.
Mama rocks is known for its wild Sweet and yummy yummy burgers. They have different outlets within Nairobi but the one at alchemist bar is the one I've been in. I was there one of the weekends and decided to try a burger with the local name. The mango Maasai mama and it has been my favorite burger since then. Their Burger goes for around 1000/=. They are well cooked very juicy and the flavour just explodes in your mouth with every bite. The ambience is totally fantastic. Loved every minute there. You can also call ahead to order what you want. Please make sure you go there, if you are in Nairobi. They also have diverse options that cater to meat eaters and vegetarians alike. The ambiance is sooo good so you don't have to worry about that, the music is good, doesn't overpower conversations , they have motivated staff but if you go on weekends you'd think they are slow but it's just the many hungry customers that are being served. I love everything about Mama rocks
Diamond trust bank just to start is an award winning lender here in Kenya. I love this bank and I love it because of its app. They have an app that can do Mobile banking. You can save on the app and do free mobile to mobile transaction it doesn't matter how much you want to send. From Mpesa to dtb app is free. From dtb to mpesa is free. Dtb branches are never that busy so when you visit them you get served very fast. Their customer care number is always received during working days of course and the help and advise you accordingly. I love dtb bank
I have eaten chicken wings before but I must admit the ones I had from urban burger were exceptional. I went to urban burger located at Koinange street. There's no parking space there so it's better going with a cab or on foot. Just at the entrance you'll find a security guard that will direct you up and the first thing you see is a pool table before heading to the counter to make your order. Then at the counter there are three cheerful attendants who take your order with love and tells you to go upstairs if you've never been there because that's where the ambience is. Those lovely ladies know how to do the assignment. There's a bar upstairs you can order some cocktail as you wait for your food to get ready. On this particular day I ordered some chicken wings takeaway with barbecue whatever my girlfriend wanted that. It took them exactly ten minutes to get my order ready. Cool right. You can play pool as you wait for your order. They have their take away option but you can just have a table and have some good time there. There's a big screen for football lovers. When in town you never have to worry of missing a game just head over to urban burger and get your drink or food and enjoy. I loved the wings and they wewe on offer 20 wings for 1100 shillings. I would love to go back just get the wings
Carrefour carrefour is very popular supermarket in Nairobi they are just the supermarket when you need affordable products. Compared to other supermarkets, they constantly have offers, products are well priced. They are well situated in places where parking is easily available. I've been to the one in Galleria mall that supermarket is always clean from the staff to the store itself. The shelves are nearly arranged. They have households items, fresh groceries are there at a very cheap price kila kitu. Electronics are in plenty cloth lines are there, foot wears are available beauty products etcetera etcetera. The staff are helpful and when you want to tip an attendant in carrefour don't do it in the open where the camera's are watching 😂😂you will cost someone their job. Find a way to do it. Affordable products and quality products will always take me to carrefour
Naivas supermarket. I've been to quite a number of Naivas supermarket outlets and I only got love for the one in Ongata Rongai at Maiyan Mall. The first thing you see is the huge parking space that the mall offers and it's free parking space you don't pay anything. It's huge and a very clean supermarket. You'll get almost everything that you need In that Ongata Rongai branch but you must always miss one or two things that you might need. I think prices in Naivas supermarket are a little bit high compared to other supermarkets. The staff at Ongata Rongai are helpful they'll guide you and show where you can get whatever you are looking for. There's this Naivas supermarket in kisumu along a roundabout I didn't like the staff a few have never been of much help when you need assistance. I'd advise that all staff are given a little knowledge on customer care services
I discovered Nairobi street kitchen when top ten or the restaurants you've visited in Nairobi was trending. I was doing my rounds in Westlands then saw it and I said why not let me see what is available in here. The restaurant itself is an art creatively designed if you love well done piece of arts then you'll love Nairobi street kitchen. The menu doesn't have options but you can go with what's available. I love giving credits to good staff and I loved them, being served well and fast always makes me want to go back to a restaurant. Visit Nairobi street kitchen you'll love the available cuisine
Red ginger is a very beautiful restaurant in parklands and before finding your way to Red ginger call first and make a reservation because finding a walk in table will be having lady luck on your side. You don't have to worry about parking it's there or you can just take a cab. And kudos to the person who did the deco in that restaurant it's beautiful and amazing. I've been here twice on a busy day and on a relaxed day. On busy day you might think that food takes quite some time to get ready but it's because of the huge number of customers if you are not patient go on a less crowded day which I'd advise on weekdays because on weekends it's full. I loved their services the waiters were willing and very motivated to serve they love what they do. Their menu has a lot to choose from, you can't get whatever you want but you'll sure have a veriety to choose. Food is of great quality and it comes in plenty. Did I mention that the ambience is just wow. When in parklands visit them find your corner and make an order
I've been to Maugg and bean and I must admit that the experience was amazing. I was there last year on January 15th and I thought I must just come back and leave a review and thank one great guy he's name is either kelvin or Kevin. He did me a solid because I was really hungry and I also needed a place to just finish some work I was on a deadline. I just asked him to pick something good from the menu as I did my work on my laptop has a great space you can do your work there I recommend their customer service Kelvin served me well. I had some hot chocolate and eggs with some funny name I can't remember clearly and they were well made cooked to perfection and enough quantity. The kind of customer care I had was top notch I would go back and have a chit chat get some good coffee or chocolate
Quickmart is fastest growing business that I know of. I've been to many quickmart premises but I'm well conversant with the one ls in Ongata Rongai. With quickmart you basically get everything under one roof. Ample parking space is what you notice first, followed by good customer service. Well stocked and fairly priced is what you discover once inside. Well stocked and not overly crowded supermarket if you're looking for options around Masaai Lodge in Ongata Rongai. The decor is also tastefully done and there's a hot food section with a well spaced area to eat should one so wish. You get points everytime you shop at quickmart premises and the good thing about these points is that you can use them to purchase any product that you want as long as the number of points is equivalent to the amount of the product that you want to purchase. With these points you don't need the usual cards that supermarkets give out, you just register with your number and give it to the cashier everytime you do your shopping voucher. If you are in Ongata Rongai you can branch at quickmart anytime.
If you want some good indian food within Karen then the mayura restaurant is the place to be. It is located at the hub mall so you know you won't be worried about parking because the hub has a good parking space. I came here for some chicken biryani and I must say it's an I am improvement compared to the first time I was here which was way back in 2019. The services were quick it took less time to get served and the food was good and well cooked. I still think the price is a little bit high but it's worth it because the food was good. The ambience is good the spacing is perfectly good and I always love arriving here at night because of the kind of lighting that they have. The staff are quick but kindly tell them to lighten up bring a happy mood.
Movenpick is a high-end beautiful restaurant that's in Westlands in the heart of the beautiful town. Entrance is good and it with enough parking space with a beautifully well lit reception. My lift took me to the top most floor. You don't just use any lift 😅you use the one on your far right. The view you get from that place is amazing and I would recommend that the best time to arrive at this hotel is at night around 7:30 pm. The ambience is just wow. I can't remember the name of the food I ordered but it was great. I'm not keen to details well because 5 star ⭐ restaurant have very difficult food names it's not easy to remember. It was well cooked the staff are friendly you get your orders in time and everything is just great. Now the rotation part caught my eyes I didn't even realize till I couldn't see the counter. It's like an earth rotation you don't feel it. I had to get up and confirm what was going on 😂😂😂but I loved the experience. The view and the rotating part will always bring me there. I love Movenpick.
Cy suites is such an amazing it's well placed in terms of location in a very quiet and calm environment. Ambience is there and everything is good. My friend took me there for a brunch just to chill and catch up. I love the food cy staff are very cooperative and food is well prepared and served nicely. I would love to go back or come back just because of Karen at the reception. Her smile is just wow and she's nice. I love this place
I've been to ibis styles and that's a place you would want to be because it's a hotel of class with three restaurant. It has the kilele nyama and my oh my the meat that those chefs prepare is out of this world. I don't know how they do it but it comes out tender soft and very very yummy. That's the best meat I've had so far compared to all the restaurants that I've been in. They also have the utamu restaurant I've also had my burger there then there's the rooftop vibe one the skybar I've only been there to have good views. The hotel is well lit it has good creative spaces that you can relax and do your things seated comfortably in some nicely done space. The staff there are very friendly and that is what gives me good vibes about a restaurant. Having friendly staff that caters for your needs very fast. They have parking too so you don't have to worry about that. Ibis styles is vibe. The meat from kilele nyama always always wants me to go back and have a bite. Sooon I'll be coming to ibis styles again.
Westgate mall is huuige located in Westlands ample parking space. You never have to worry of a parking space when going to the mall. It has a lot of business going on inside there. You can literally get everything you need under one roof. On this particular day we went to watch a movie and I loved the place. Its clean and the views are just great. Kempinski is just great from checking in to checking out. I loved the way the guy with the big hut opened our Uber door on arrival and I didn't know Kempinski has different restaurants within the building. What you guys should know is that you have to make a reservation first before heading to Kempinski. The hotel is super super clean. The food Is good and I loved the fact that it takes a very short time for the food to get ready. Customer service is just top notch. And I always thought that prices are very high at Kempinski buy you'll be surprised that they are affordable. I loved the cocktails and the ambience is just great. You'll love to go to Kempinski and want to go back because they really take good care of you.
I was here on Valentine's day and I loved the moment. We were on the fifth floor. Ambience was good. Lighted swimming pool just next to us. Music was being played instrumental and it was awesome. Each and every table has a waiter that serves you guys. You get a starter eat it as they wait for you to finish. You can inquire about the food before ordering because you know in five stars if you don't know what you are ordering you can end up spending on something that you won't eat 😂😂😂. So we took the starter it was good upto the last meal . They are friendly they ask if you are okay if you need something and for me conversation is always key. Having waiters who can speak freely is always a vibe I would recommend sarova Stanley to anyone because their services are top notch
We went to dominos pizza in Westlands yesterday with friends and that place is amazing from inside you can see the outside view. The place is clean and well organized you can even see their kitchen from the counter and it's sparkling clean. It has a parking just outside the entrance. And within the same building there's cold stone ice creams so you can have your pizza while eating your ice cream. The lady that served us was very kind and help I think her name was Margaret I'm not sure but she seemed like she was in charge. Service was quick within 10 minutes we had our served hot shawarma pizza it has a long name I can't remember all of it😂 but it was good and if you want pizza and you are in Westlands go to at dominos I would go back because I loved the interaction I had with those service providers back at dominos and they suggested the pizza we ate and it was super delicious.
