A beautiful place to do an exhibition
Every time I hear Alliance Francaise I remember one of my most memorable moments that took place here. As a photographer one of the best thing that can happen to you is either you win an award both local or international award or your work gets to be exhibited locally and internationally. I was among the top Kenyan photographers who were chosen to undertake a photography program for three months for Sexual Gender Based Violence victims in partnership with (MSF) Médecins Sans Frontières. Alliance Française has always been a home for the arts in the capital of the East African country. It is one of the few spaces which regularly hosts concerts, theatre performances, art exhibitions, book launches, and much more. Over the last sixty years, the Alliance Française has developed into one of the largest on the African continent with some 4,000 students learning the French language every year and a leading cultural space. Our exhibition ran for a whole month here without any issue. Friendly security at the entrance will always guide you whenever you are in need. There is also a cafe inside the premises for anyone who may wish to snack.
