Within Tsavo East National Park, this secluded, informal lodge is a minute's walk from the Aruba Dam and 34 km from the A109 road. Offering Wi-Fi access, the no-nonsense rooms and permanent tents come with safes. Some quarters also have terraces. A restaurant features a terrace and views of the dam. There's a bar/lounge, as well as an outdoor pool. Game drives are offered. Breakfast is available.

Ashnil Aruba Lodge sits in one of Kenya’s oldest national parks – Tsavo East National Park, covering about 40% of all land surrounded by Kenyan national parks and is considered the world’s biodiversity strongholds. Its popularity is due mainly to the vast amounts of diverse wildlife. The national park is a popular safari destination with great attraction to those interested in experiencing the vastness of the wilderness and incredible terrain.

The Lodge features 46 rooms and six tents. Its location is superb, just a couple of hours from the coast of Mombasa, 5 hours leisurely drive from Nairobi, and is located on the banks of Aruba Dam, which was built in 1952 as a sport fishing recreational point in the park. Several watering holes nearby attract wildlife, and spotting animals is easy because the park lies flat with savannah grassland.

The open sitting restaurant located in the main building overlooks the dam at all angles and can sit a maximum of 150 guests. The wooden deck shaded by canvas umbrellas can be used as extra seating during meal times. Both warm and cold buffet platforms sit in the middle of the restaurant for easy access. The restaurant serves set buffets featuring international, oriental and traditional African cuisine.
