Sentrim Samburu

Sentrim Samburu Lodge is situated in Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya. The three National Reserves Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Shaba protect a large area along the seasonal Ewaso Nyiro River. Surrounded by interestingly shaped hills you will fall in love with this region. The semi arid acacia – commiphora region is inhabited by elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, lions and leopards. In this region you find the Northern fauna representatives: gerenuk, Grevy zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and over 400 bird species. This Luxurious tented lodge offers 20 modern tents with a private view over the wildlife–rich riverbanks.The spacious tents boasts the very latest in luxury camping, with soft beds, en suite bathroom with steaming hot shower. The bathroom also offers a washbasin, flush toilet and sockets for shavers.

The relatively new Sentrim Samburu Camp is a luxury tented camp, which is located within the boundaries of the Samburu Game Reserve. Situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, it offers just 20 tents, a central dining, bar and lounge area, gift shop, and a swimming pool, sundeck and Jacuzzi. The camp is 15 minute’s drive from the airstrip.

Location
The Samburu National Reserve of northern Kenya, conjoined with the smaller but no less attractive Buffalo Springs and Shaba Reserve, lies 320 kilometres from Nairobi (6 hours by road, an hour by air)at an altitude of 857 meters above sea level.
