Cafe Deli and Delicatessen Nairobi

The café deli restaurants and cake are located in different locations: at Moi Avenue, Tumaini House, and Rubis Petrol station on Koinange Street. It is the place to be for the best cakes, fantastic breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their hygiene standards, theme, and decor are without question. I visited the restaurant and had a chance to try the blueberry cake with coffee; the cake was beautiful and delicious, and the people there were always friendly and helpful. The food is affordable, ranging from Ksh 352 to Ksh 3,523. I highly recommend the café deli to anyone and everyone who wants a cake for any occasion. It’s a beautiful place to eat, drink and have a good time with friends. I was not disappointed. Great place to go, and it is Vegetarian Friendly and has Vegan Options.

Visited Cafe Deli (Moi Avenue) to catch up with a friend. The place has been refurbished, it’s bigger with space upstairs too. The decor is lovely, afro-fusion, with lovely plants inside that create a great ambiance, with top-notch selection of music in the background. Cafe Deli provides prompt and courteous customer service, They have a good selection of food and beverages and their facilities are clean and well maintained. My overall experience at the Café Delis I’ve been to in Nairobi has always been satisfactory. But this time around, with just the first order (Fruit Punch), my expectations were exceeded. I only imagined that I’d be getting a simple fruit mix “juice” as one of their waitress (Diana) called it (when she courteously came back to find out how I was enjoying my drink; although I’m not particularly affected by the shortfall in diction) but upon receipt (wonderfully presented by Tito & perhaps the Barista or chef who curated the drink), I was BLOWN away when I saw it as shown in the photos. What’s more it had very tasteful diced watermelons and a delightful addition of one of my addictions – a vanilla sundae ice cream scoop to top it off. I mean, wow! What a way to start off my order! I loved your cocktails especially the mind eraser, lol! you may wonder why that name, well… I too couldn’t. figure out why they gave it that name. The hospitality at Cafe Deli is not learned in school, service here comes from the heart. Very warm, friendly, and professional. Blueberry cakes here are definitely something you’ll walk the world to find. The coffee is authentic AA African; from the taste and aroma, you feel at home! The milkshakes here are something else! they taste like basically delicious flavourful ice cream in a glass with a straw. I recommend the chocolate or the mocha. The food is good, I like either the pork chops or chicken curry with chapatis. There is a kids menu too, so considerate of them to think of families. There are plugs for charging phones or laptops so it’s a good place to come and work, or for a lunch date, or for evening drinks. I come with my family on Sundays when the Cbd is not so crowded. Cafe Deli any day anytime!

Located right in the heart of the CBD, cafe deli is the place to be. The restaurant has one of the best interior decors in Nairobi and is strategically located allowing easy access when in the CBD. The restaurant ofters great service courtesy of the friendly chef’s and staff. Cost-wise id recommend the restaurant since as I like to say it, their prices are worthwhile, trust me you won’t feel cheated after dining with them. The view overlooking the city of Nairobi is one of the best and to die for. Cafe deli is one of the best restaurants to partner with too. My friends organized an event a few weeks back and requested them to partner with us and they accepted. The restaurant baked us an amazing cake and came through with cocktails. The event was a success thanks to them and we genuinely look forward to more partnerships with them. So yeah, I’d highly recommend dining and partnering with Cafe Deli.

I love the milkshakes from cafe deli… They do the garnishing so well that you cant wait for the drink to get to your table . With the kind of decorations they do with the drink it will always be my favorite drink from cafe deli . Located right in the middle of Nairobi CBD, this restaurant is ideal for quick lunch breaks and great breakfast dates. I loved their ambiance; the whole room is filled with art pieces. With numerous paintings on the wall and great music playing in the background. A whole vibe. They have great customer service. Their staff is very friendly. They complement the ambiance. Their food is also quite tasty especially their freak shakes are the best. The last time I was here I had their breakfast combo of; Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice, Two Eggs, Sausage, Toast, fries, and some coffee. This went for KES800KES. By the time I was finishing my meal I was so full, I couldn’t get up. Their cakes are really good too. They also bake for occasions such as birthdays. The sitting area is cozy with a few booths hence some privacy. Perfect for solo working time.

It was amazing. Love their black forest and the happy hour is just…… happy. I can’t wait to go back. It’s just next to my office. The staff are friendly and they remember me. They even know how long it’s been since I went. I love it. Feels like home.

Café Deli is located in the middle of Nairobi CBD- making it the perfect place to have a work lunch, a date or a quick cup of coffee. It has the feel of a coffee shop but also is quite large for the raw experience of intimacy of a local coffee shop. The meny is quite favorable with affordable prices. With a budget of 12$-20$, you can enjoy a nice meal at the restaurant. They offer a wide variety of meal options and quite well staffed for a large restaurant and a wide clientele. If you are someone who would like to enjoy a great meal to the lulling sound of the Nairobi street noises then this is definitely the place for you. I had the mushroom soup and the steak and potatoes. I would highly recommend the mushroom soup. The restaurant accommodates large parties with spacious tables and two floors of dining room. I frequent Cafe Deli every time I am in the Nairobi CBD because one is always assured of great food and great ambience.

Cafe Deli is a chain restaurant with a current total of 3 branches in Nairobi. The most recent branch is the one along Kenyatta Avenue in Nairobi and that’s the one I’ve visited. It offers a vast, spacious setting that has some of the best lighting decor I’ve seen in Nairobi restaurants : especially the topmost floor .Even before the food ,I’d love to talk about how the service was top notch.The waiters as well as the managers were very friendly. We’d decided to do dinner here in order to celebrate a cousins birthday and we wanted the staff to prepare a whole surprise party.They really did not disappoint. They way they came out with the cake and the whole delivery was really incredible. They sang waay energetically than even us adding a whole lot of life to the celebration. From their menu ,we ordered several things. First we started with cocktails because well ,Happy hour.We had the long island which went for 900kshs and the offer is you buy one get the other absolutely free.The cocktails were a little watered down and I couldn’t really taste the alcohol which was somehow disappointing. We then ordered their mint and passion mocktails which were around 400 shillings: very candied and perfect for my sweet tooth .For the main meal,we ordered bitings and we each had their 12piecer Deli chicken wings which cost us 990kshs each.The wings and baked chicken lollipops were tossed in sticky sauce and it was served with a touch of chips .I loved the barbeque sauce on the wings and I’d definitely recommend them. Another thing that stuck with me was the ambiance and how I felt like it doubled as an official meeting place and casual meeting place all at once .This was definitely made easy by the floor partition. I absolutely loved my experience here.
