For You Chinese Restuarant

For You Restaurant is located at the corner of Gitanga Rd & Ole Dume Rd. This is one of the few perfect restaurants in Valley Arcade/Gitanga Rd. The food is Asian-Indian Chinese but popular and appetizing. Service is no frills, the children love the complimentary icecreams and little Chinese torch, and other toy giveaways. For the portions they give you, it’s a such great value. The staff is attentive and the ambiance/decor is nice. I’ve only been here once at night, but I could see outlines of the playground outside. FYI ‘Plain rice’ is fried rice and steam rice is plain white rice lol. On their menu, they offer an extensive menu that comprises starters, special dishes, soups, vegetarian entrees, seafood, drinks, rice, and noodles. So we decided to try a bunch of things. Prices seemed more than reasonable and when the food came was most impressed with the overall quality of the food. I liked the idea of how the food was served so we could rotate the serving dishes and each person could help themselves. We so much enjoyed our meal. The quality of the service will invite you once again to this place. The staff is so hospitable. Enock was amazing, he served us with a big smile… this is one of the things that makes me go back to a place. I was told Friday to Sunday there is a lady who can take care of your kids playing in the play area while having lunch. We started with the pork dim sum and pork salt pepper. They were wonderful. Fresh as ever. For our mains, we had chicken and prawn fried rice. The beef in black bean sauce was absolutely stellar, the best dish of the evening. The chilly garlic chicken was excellent too. The atmosphere indeed was inviting for us to have such a delicious meal. Will definitely go back with my entire family.

An extremely beautifully made and managed restaurant that is easy to locate along Gitanga road in Nairobi. The service is quick, a long with observing the covid 19 SOPs and the food is top notch! They have a variety of food categories all of which are absolutely delicious mammoth portions and very fresh. We celebrated a friends birthday here and loved it! We ordered for vegetable rice which was about 300shs, prawn noodles about 500shs, chicken and beef each at 600shs. Plus we were offered starters for free! We had a lot of leftover food despite being a table for 8. The charges were really affordable and we got value for our money considering we were all students. They additionally gave us free gifts and free ice cream for dessert. The most unbelievably commendable thing is how the manager personally goes round taking feedback about the food from the guests. The ambience is great with an option of indoors or outside in a spacious and perfectly arranged wooden tent. However they should consider upgrading their cutlery because it was quite old. They have a kids play area so it’s a must try for family lunch or dinner. They have enough space for both intimate dinners and group parties. I would definitely go back. You can also order their delicious food online or do take away and enjoy it in the comfort of your home/office.
