Golden Spot Restaurant & Lounge

This is a decent sports bar in Kilimani. It’s located some 15 minutes from Nairobi CBD and a cab cost about kes 300. To me, it looks more like a restaurant than a lounge. They have simple decor. Most of the sitting area is an open space. At night it gets cold. When it does or when it rains, they use some tent-like material for the cover. Another reason why it feels more like a restaurant is the music. It’s usually slow music and the volume is at a minimum. Plus the crowd is mostly older guys. The main advantage it has is the number of TVs. Per every like four tables, there’s a tv. They also sell their alcohol for cheap. You’re busy watching the game and before you notice, you’re down four beers. It’s a good chill spot for its target audience.
