My husband and I were on a quest to find genuine eco-friendly hotels or a “Green Hotel.” Sometimes it can feel like looking for a needle in a haystack. A green hotel is an environmentally sustainable hotel or accommodation that has made important environmental improvements to its structure in order to minimize its impact on the natural habitat. This is basically a long preamble to say that we looked for a place that does all that and ended up at ibis Styles located in the heart of Westlands. We were welcomed by an amazing team; who did not hesitate to take us through the safety measures the hotel had put in place. We surely felt all safe altogether and definitely ready to unwind in style. The four main things that make their story green: 1. They plant a buttload of trees 2. They keep their energy load down and repurpose their wastewater 3. They recycle kitchen oil into biofuel 4. They compost their food waste Just the vibe of the hotel building on their website is as good as real. Breakfast was excellent, and the bed was super comfortable – the room was on the smaller side but incredibly efficient and well laid out – it didn’t feel small, very clean and neat room I must admit, this Was the best night’s sleep. If your looking to unwind as a couple during the weekend I recommend this hotel

Amazing location…you can access Nairobi CBD in 5 minutes .The room is spacious and exactly how it appears in the pictures. Super friendly staff! I recommend Kilele Nyama Restaurant..they have this fingerlicking choma goat meat🍖…Gosh l will never forget the way it was so tender and soft and tasy….Honestly that the best meat l have had my entire life….The pricing is affordable and worth it. The check in and out process is also simple and straightforward. Even though their check out time is 10am they don’t behave in a manner like hey your money is over you can now leave…..you can still chill in their restaurant. I loved the idea of them having a club in the same building 👌 😍 It made me turn up without having to stress on how l will get to my room…. Am coming back soon 🥰

I’ve been to ibis styles and that’s a place you would want to be because it’s a hotel of class with three restaurant. It has the kilele nyama and my oh my the meat that those chefs prepare is out of this world. I don’t know how they do it but it comes out tender soft and very very yummy. That’s the best meat I’ve had so far compared to all the restaurants that I’ve been in. They also have the utamu restaurant I’ve also had my burger there then there’s the rooftop vibe one the skybar I’ve only been there to have good views. The hotel is well lit it has good creative spaces that you can relax and do your things seated comfortably in some nicely done space. The staff there are very friendly and that is what gives me good vibes about a restaurant. Having friendly staff that caters for your needs very fast. They have parking too so you don’t have to worry about that. Ibis styles is vibe. The meat from kilele nyama always always wants me to go back and have a bite. Sooon I’ll be coming to ibis styles again.
