Kengele’s Lavington Green

One of my favorite bars in Nairobi. It is located in the leafy suburbs of Lavington. A cab from Nairobi city center costs KES500 but there’s the option of using cheaper public transport. I like this joint because of its chilled vibe. The premises is not huge and therefore, it gets full fast. It is advisable to reserve a table or come early starting from Thursday to Sunday. The decor is that of a cabin. Wooden everything, from floors to the tables and walls. It looks really good. They also have great service. You can get your drinks from the bar or you can have the waiters bring them to you. I especially like the karaoke session at Kengele’s. The crown is always responsive and they sing along to each tune. I would highly recommend their karaoke sessions.
