Wondeful experince with Catherine Mwangi
Kenya Television Network (KTN) is one of the leading television stations in Kenya with its headquarters located along Mombasa Road Nairobi, at the Standard Group Centre Nairobi. It was founded in 1990 by and was the first non-pay privately owned TV station in Africa, and the first to break KBC’s monopoly in Kenya. KTN became famous for Activism Journalism in the 1990s, developing a sophisticated, aggressive, and unique style of news coverage, and has continued with the same hard-line stance, issues-based reporting to date, branding itself as the ‘authoritative and independent news channel. I have been privileged to be featured on KTN twice, the first time was my photography journey and the second time was my story. Nothing beats a willing would who has overcome all the challenges and mountains and is willing to share their journey as an encouragement to others. I was featured on What’s Your Story by Catherine Mwangi. What’s your story is a talk show that offers a platform for all people to paint their stories through a dynamic tell-it-all conversation. We did our recording at Hilton Hotel. The warm reception I received made all the difference. Catherine made the conversation easy and enjoyable. It’s often expected for one to feel panic or fear before recordings especially if you not used to it, the good thing is they know how to calm your nerves down so that you can be able to enjoy the show as you tell your story. I would do the recording over and over again with KTN
