Lion Hill Safari Lodge

Lion Hill Safari Lidge is a great place to stay at the Tsavo East Park. We stayed here as part of our safari and we were blown away when we drove up the switchback driveway by the view and surroundings. Such a panorama with waterholes down below and elephants drinking and resting close by made for an amazing experience. I don’t think you can beat their view for this area! A well meintained lodge with the most comfortable beds and super clean rooms that overlooked the pool, which is large and has a nice waterfall and swim up bar. simple but practical, with a splendid view on the park, we could see animals from our balcony and at night could even hear some animals. Hot water on demand and good volume from the showers was great. Wifi and TV is only available in the lobby/restaurant, aaah! but who cares about WIFI LOL!, The dining area overlooking Tsavo East National Park was romantic and the view stunning. The magic of Lion Hill Safari Lodge takes you away from everything! you dont need either of those! Nice place to relax before a good night sleep. Very kind, friendly and helpful staff always attending to our needs. Food buffet simple but excellent (vegetable soup delicious, local vegetables cooked to perfection) we especially enjoyed the salads and barbequed meats. We love that the hotel has local tribes come in multiple times during the week for dancing and educational presentations. A great place to visit if you’re looking for peace and tranquility… Especially when you get to see the elphants visit the water hole near the swimming pool while you’re swimming. Would we go back? absoultely YES!
