This is one of my favorite spots to chill on Saturdays and Sundays. It’s located in Milimani, some 15 minutes from Nakuru CBD. The ambiance at Little Garden is crazy. It was a residential house that was converted into a bistro. There are several tents with some having four seats and others with benches. You decide on where to seat depending on the crowd you’re with. They also have a seat that swings and is a great place to seat with your partners as you take cocktails. I’m not a fan of how clubs are usually packed and the loud music and so, Little Garden offers the calmness and soft background music that I enjoy. The ambiance is also great if you’re hosting a party. You have to call in advance so that they can set up the venue. Because of the lawn’s size, guys can have their party while other guests can still chill in the other tents and enjoy their time. I have also had several meetings there and the guys I bring are impressed by its tranquility. The cost of drinks and food is also friendly. Beers range from 200/= to 350/ and a bottle of Gilbeys goes for 2500/= The staff is also very welcoming. Considering the number of times I’ve been there, I have a favorite waiter, Ben. So whenever he spots me, he knows what to serve without me asking. It’s currently my favorite place to chill and if ever you’re in Nakuru and you want a place to relax and enjoy your drinks, Little Garden is that place.
