I study in Nakuru and Naivas Supermarket that is along Kenyatta Avenue is my favorite place to shop. Everything in the supermarket is well arranged with each isle being clearly labelled so you know where to get what you need. I love their baked and cooked foods as well and I also like how each section is well spaced. Service delivery is quite fast at the cashier and they interact well with their customers. The Supermaket is spacious and electronics can be found at the basement if you need them. There is however no parking space and to avoid queuing for long at the cashier, try to shop on weekdays due to the high number of customers on weekends

Currently, Naivas is the leading supermarket in Kenya. It has so many branches that I’ve lost count. A little know fact by most of its shoppers is that Naivas started in Nakuru, my hometown. So you can understand the loyalty. They had a rebrand when they got big and it’s made it even more compelling to shop there. Some of the reasons I like Naivas include the spaciousness in most of their stores. They are huge and the products are strategically placed that you feel that your shopping at your comfort. They also have the freshest produce I’ve seen in any supermarkets. The groceries are neatly arranged and well lit, even if you had no Planck of buying groceries, you’ll be compelled to buy. They also have the best online shopping site that is user-friendly and precise to the last product. Their top attraction for me is their food court. Starting with space, it’s ambient and peaceful. You can have a date there and it’ll be great. Then the food is delicious and the prices are fair. My favorite supermarket.

Naivas supermarket has opened many branches over the years and its expansion across various counties not just Nairobi, has incresed their market and customers due to easy accessibility. They have outlets in Ruiru, Thika , Spur Mall , Nyeri , Nakuru, Eldoret and sooo many more. I love shopping at Naivas Supermarket because they always have great deals and discounted offers on their products therefore saving me some coins. The place is always fully stocked and their aisles well sectioned according to the products on the shelves. The sign boards above every section showing what specific aisles have ensure minimal confusion and saves one time since one does not have to keep going round searching for a specific products. My favourite part about Naivas Supermarket is their groceries section which is always well stocked with fresh farm produce. Since I’m always in a rush and the market is quite far, a quick stop here always saves me a lot of time. Their bakery always has fresh pastries and their mouth watering blackforest cake sooo delicious! They bake the best cakes and the three times I’ve ordered my cakes I have not been disappointed. The attendants are quite helpful and strategically posted at the end of every aisle therefore always on the lookout for a customer in need of help or clarification about a product. Recently Naivas Supermarket partnered with Little Cab to offer customers who shop a minimum of Ksh 1000 worth of shopping frew rides to their destination. I got to enjoy a free ride this when I visited Nakuru last week and shopped at their Nakuru branch! They were so quick and willing I was actually really impressed. The only bad experience I’ve had with them is early this month during the back to school period. Due to the hustle that comes with it, the CBD branch on Moi Avenue was running a bit slower than usual and due to covid regulations they had as line up on the sidewalk in a very long queue waiting to enter. I found the situation not well handled since it got a bit chaotic when the line got bigger and since one cannot extend into the road the sidewalk got crowded and shoving from passerbys as they tried to find their way through got annoying. I think they could have handled the situation a bit better.

Naivasha has different outlets across Kenya and offers a wide variety of product shopping and services. I mostly shop at the one in Nyali ,along Mombasa- Malindi highway. It is located on the ground floor, east wing in Nyali Centre. There is ample parking space and good security. It is one of the largest supermarkets in Mombasa however it gets crowded during peak hours and on Sundays. They offer a variety of products and many discounts, and the goods are well organized. You can get practically anything under one roof and the prices are very competitive. The attendants are nice and helpful. I particularly love their bakery, I have bought pastries from there and I would highly recommend. They also have a cafe within the supermarket which sells a variety of ready made food. It has great customer service and sufficient cashiers at the check out area. They need to have express counters for customers with less items. Just outside the supermarket, there are vendors who sell beautiful Swahili shoes and accessories at affordable prices. It is an amazing place to do shopping and I would highly recommend.

Naivas have very many stores across the country and is a favourite supermarket for many people. You know how you look forward to these discounted deals that mostly only happen around Christmas? What if I told you it could be Christmas for you more than once or twice an year. I cannot get enough of the deals they usually got going on. I usually shop at Naivas at least once a week and I find their underground free parking so convenient. They usually stock groceries, electronics, sports equipment, food and they have a deli and bakery. Currently they have their #krisibilaworries promotion where they give shoppers vouchers after shopping which is quite a pleasant surprise. These deals are always available at every branch so there is no excuse as to why you aren’t grabbing your trolley already. Naivas opened a branch back at home and I must say they have really made my shopping a happy experience. Their branches are quite spacious with two or more floors and always well stocked. They have escalators and ramps to enable anyone with disability to have an easy shopping experience as well. If you do ever find yourself in a situation where you needed something and the supermarket you went to doesn’t stock that, Naivas most definitely got you 99% of the time .The place gets so packed at times which is expected because who would want to miss out on their amazing offers. Their cashiers are usually swift so one never has to stay in line for that long. Naivas is still a preference for so many Kenyans because it has evolved and withstood the test of time and are still a huge contender for all the upcoming supermarkets to this day.
