The traditional Kenyan experience.
We went to this place by chance some time back. We were visiting The Lord Egerton castle and due to some circumstances, we were still at the castle at 8 pm. We decide not to travel back to Nairobi and instead find a place to stay close by. One of the staff suggested Pilgrims Getaway which is right behind the castle. We got there and Lawrence gave us the warmest welcome. The only available sleeping area was the hut. It’s was quite the experience. It was more cozy than tiny. They served Kenyan delicacies which I love and their prices were cheap. The thing about sleeping in the hut is that the toilets are outside which made the experience more memorable. The morning after, we had breakfast in the garden and the air was so fresh. Spreading the night there was a great decision.
