Perfect place for a camping laden getaway with party pals
Was here for a solo weekend getaway. For first-time visitors, one may judge the camp according to the dirty rough road that is in a very remote location. A centric lodge, Stayed in one of the Bandas in a comfortable bed, close to the bathhouse, a short walk to the restaurant and bar. Bandas are no-frills, but comfortable, private, and a big step up from camping. 3 hard sides, tin roof, an elevated wood floor, with a canvas front cover that rolls up to expose you to the outside, plus a comfortable sitting porch that allows you to enjoy nature in privacy. the grounds were well kept and the bathrooms clean and I liked that you showered semi-outdoors. The restaurant was surprisingly good….a creative chef who knows his way around flavor. The bar was friendly, and the drinks were not expensive, I enjoyed my none alcoholic drinks, it was a good gathering place to watch soccer or just hang out after a long day of sightseeing. Punda Milias understand camping and bandas! there are different activities that can be done at the camp, I was so glad I did horse packing to the lake and back, such a friendly staff to understand your fears. Lol, I have watched so many movies, and I could only imagine what would happen if we encountered one of the Big Five! it could probably charge towards us. Gosh! my fears were real, the staff assured me that nothing of the sort could happen because it has never! I highly recommend this place especially for families! and parties
