A taste of 1900's
I call this place my home of football. It is located on club road opposite Gillanis supermarket in Nakuru 159km from Nairobi. It has been in Nakuru since 1907. The structure hasn’t changed much since then. The building looks ancient yet its so well maintained. The floors are wooden and the chairs in the lounge are quite classy. There is a restaurant on the ground floor where they serve an array of dishes but their chicken is exquisite. They have a bar on the first floor with a view of the lawn and the tennis court and football pitch. The food and drinks in the club are charged on your membership card. Joining the club has a lot of requirement but the monetary requirement is a one time payment of close to 250,000/=. The club also has a world class gym and swimming pool. I usually go there to play soccer or watch soccer at the bar. Its a cool place for chill Sunday family outings or business meetings.
