In the jungle with fast WIFI in the room!
We checked in for two nights and someone showed us to our room carrying our bags. First impressions were good, the grounds were lovely with great views across the lake, and felt like you were in amongst nature. The room itself was a little small but we had everything we needed. The bed was also very comfy. I would say a beautiful Lodge in the heart of Lake Nakuru National Park, all the facilities you need for a weekend getaway – very good and impeccably clean rooms with hot showers, shampoo, body wash, lotion, etc, personal hygiene packs with masks and sanitizer, coffee/tea. The view of Lake Nakuru from our room was very therapeutic……. I also loved walking around the compound….. The Staff Members led by Jane were very very courteous…..Good Morning…did you sleep well…. are you happy with the food.. your room ….. Anything you would like us to improve on ….Meal times were awesome. Well thought out Buffet ………….. we loved how exceptionally nice and helpful they were. They also work so seamlessly together with such harmony. Special thanks to Mr. James at the meats station, Simon serving with Sarah and Peter and overall, Angela who made sure all our special meal needs were met to the dot. Good and tasty food – lots of fresh fruit and salad options. You should try Turkey – found the beef and lamb quite tough. Loved the pancakes! not forgetting the great sitting area in and around the bar. Nice and clean pool, if you enjoy table tennis, they got your back! I never went for swimming for the time we were there if you missed me at the restaurant or room you could find me at the table tennis pitch. Table tennis is BAE! The bonfire was super cozy during the night! Plan to pay the Park entry fees for everyone traveling with you, as well as the vehicle for every 24 hours you are at the lodge. We would definitely go back for another weekend. We cannot forget this hotel for the fast wifi IN the room. We will definitely come back.
