If you are in Stack and Squeeze located in Lavington Green you will not miss this interesting sign above the display in big letters saying ‘BE HAPPY, BE YOURSELF – BE A SANDWICH, BECAUSE SANDWICHES ARE PERFECT’. Whenever I’m there, I’m constantly thinking of their sign, I mean, how can you both be yourself and also be a sandwich? Unless, you are a very gregarious person – because you are never alone in a sandwich!. Certainly, if you are one of the fillings in a Stack and Squeeze sandwich, you are never alone, because you will be stacked with a few other tasty items. Like a few, I have tried It was the Tuna Turner where, between the two slices of fresh whole-wheat bread, the tuna was enjoying the company of chipotle mayo, tomato, cucumber, and lettuce. Whenever I’m in Lavington, Stack is always my to-go place, you can always find the sub-type sandwiches, there are vegan salads, such as chickpea and black bean, and a good variety of imaginative juices and smoothies. The (very good) bread is always really fresh, and the portions are generous. The café has a slightly ‘hipster’ vibe as if it has come straight outa Brooklyn. A great, independent choice for vegans/vegetarians in the area. An impressive hangout spot with great sandwiches to boot! Yummy and creative menu options…including drinks and smoothies. Pack an appetite, you’ll definitely want it.
