Stedmak gardens and hotel is a unique hotel located in serene and superb surroundings. The hotel is situated at Mukoyeti East Road, Off Langata Road, Next to NPC South Church Karen. It is the only hotel in Nairobi that has an animal park within the hotel, floating restaurants, and a heated swimming pool. I usually like to move out of my comfort zone and experience new things during the weekend, I visited stedmak with a friend, and it was a whole package of good things provided. When we arrived, we were told to pay for the ticket at the entrance. The rates depend on your residency status. 1000 shillings for non-residents, 500 shillings for residents, and 300 shillings for children. After paying, we were escorted by the staff who dealt with the animals and showcased all the hotel’s activities. In this hotel, you get to enjoy everything. The animal park is near you where you get to know and study more about the animal, e.g., snakes, lions, birds, monkeys, peacocks, crocodiles, etc. The restaurant is significant and can accommodate many guests. The heated swimming pool is one of a kind, and it’s so huge and always safe. The children enjoy the heated water, and the guard is always alert In case of emergency. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to try the restaurant food, but that’s something I will come back to try. For those looking to have the best experience all at once, stedmak is a place to try. It’s also a beautiful place to hold a wedding and a party.

The perfect venue for INDOOR & OUTDOOR Weddings, Corporate Conferences, Outdoor Events, Parties of Larger Gatherings & team building activities. Bird Sanctuary, Animal & Snake Park, Heated Olympic-sized Swimming pool & GYM… Early this year 2022 went there in the afternoon. I was more interested in the amusement park than the restaurant, I paid 1000ksh via Mpesa (they don’t accept cash both at the restaurant and amusement park ) I got one knowledgeable, friendly tour guide by the name Mbogo to myself. Sooo many pigeons to see different species of parrots and chicken… the snakes never ever go near a boomslang was the take-home no antivenom for that in case ur bitten by the others they have antivenom at the park… been a while since I saw a peacock … hahaha the irony of the name … I learned so much about the birds and my favorite was the Lion bird, nice place for kids to learn animals. Lunch on the water was quite good and service (thanks Captain Elizabeth) was excellent and timely. The staff was friendly and helpful ! I combined delicious nyama choma and I highly recommend it with an accompaniment of your choice. I will definitely be back!
