Sweet Inspirations is located in Nairobi, Kenya.Since a very young age, Beatrice has had a love for cooking that was first inspired by a visit to a hotel buffet table. Now, more than thirty years later, she is a pastry chef, a trained sugar crafter and the director of Sweet Inspirations.A graduate of Kenya Institute of Management, Beatrice began her career in business management in 2000. Her love for baking continued, and she often treated her colleagues to freshly baked goodies.Beatrice studied under Chef EammonMullan at TheNorfolk hotel where she specialized in pastry work. She completed her apprenticeship in 1996.In June 2006, Beatrice left formal employment at ‘Homeless Children International’ to pursue her dream-Baking and cake decorating.As much as she loves Baking and cake decorating, Beatrice also enjoys passing on her skills through training. Students range from home bakers to professionals who want to perfect a certain technique.Sweet Inspirations has been featured in The Nation Newspaper, The Standard Newspaper, K24 (KaziniKazi) , Home and living magazine , True Love Magazine, Zuku’s Made in Kenya and The Road to Success.Sweet Inspirations’ greatest achievement so far has been to make the Celebration cake for the New Republic of South Sudan in 2010 as it was declared an independent state. Since then, Sweet Inspirations has grown from a one person operation to an operation staffed with several talented cake decorators and bakers.
