Tapas Ceviche Bar Nairobi

This place offers an amazing ambiance while indulging in amazing Spanish food, wine, or cocktails. I have been to the branch at Riverside following my partners’ relentless pleas. The restaurant is located some 11 minutes from Nairobi CBD and we paid about kes 400 for a cab. It’s classy and I could see my partner fall in love from the moment we walked in. The decor is superb. There’s a lot of open space and dates get the privacy they deserve. I always like seeing art on restaurant walls and this place is no different. We had gone for the Friday happy hour which starts from 4 pm to 7 pm where you buy one cocktail and get one free. The place was packed and there was this happy vibe. We didn’t get space on the terrace. Nonetheless, we had a fantastic time.

How’s your love for Spanish food?? How about wine?? Finally how much do you like a chill but at the same time vibrant and lively (mostly at night) locations?? If your answer is yes to the three then I’d say it’s time to say yes to the restaurant. Tapas is a Spanish restaurant now currently having two locations, the first branch in Westgate Mall and the newly opened branch at Riverside.

I would highly recommend this restaurant especially to those who have a palate dedicated to Spanish cuisines or those who would love to explore it. Even if you’re not I promise you, you will not be disappointed. My favorite deals: because I’m a deals person is every day for only 1350/- enjoy a choice of 3 tapas! Offer is available every day between 10.30 am – 4 pm. The portions are so generous it’s surprising. I always get full after the 3 tapas and have to sit it out for a while.

Another one of my favourite things is their happy hour, going from 4 pm to 7 pm, buy one get one absolutely free on their cocktails. Open every day from noon to 10 pm. They also offer a very diverse selection of authentic wines..served per glass or perhaps bottle prices ranging depending on the brand. The service is fast and it has a very friendly waiters. Highly recommend and I’d rate it at 4.3/5
