The Junction

Junction Mall is located on Ngong Road, Kingara Rd, Nairobi. It was a beautiful Sunday, and a friend of mine asked if we could go out. I was happy to go to this Mall because I had never been there. It took us 15 minutes to get there by cab. When we got to the Mall, I realized it has many stores, restaurants, supermarkets, a cinema hall, etc. The ambiance of the Mall is just okay with an average kid playground. After looking at the Mall, We got a chance to look at the Lintons beauty shop, and I was happy that my friend bought me something from this great shop. The staff is friendly and willing to help you find an item that fits your skin. We also tried one of the Mall’s restaurants, and the experience we got was terrific. I liked the mall location and the security personnel who were always ready to keep the Mall safe. I recommend the Mall to anyone who wants to shop, eat out, and have movie nights. Also, it’s a safe place to take kids to play and have a good time.

It’s not a large mall, they’ve however made it a really nice place to dine, shop, watch movies, browse books ‘hang around’ the wide corridors (for teenagers!). They have increased parking spaces and their security personnel are always very helpful. The wide selection of restaurants is a huge advantage. Every Thursday you can always catch Massai Market on the rooftop. My friends and I decided to check it out. We were was a bit sceptical about how much fun could be had at a shopping centre but this one surprised us! Really great shopping options, friendly staff and safe environment to wander around alone. Prepare to get your haggle on at the market and don’t be afraid to say no if you want to, although I had so much fun conversations with market sellers it was worth the few extra things we were convinced into buying.

This is one of the most frequented malls in Kenya. It is located along Ngong Road. A cab from town costs KES450. The mall is home to over 115 stores both local and international. The building is huge making it hard to miss while on your way there. It also has a lot of parking space but you’d be surprised that it gets full during the weekends. Parking is charged at a fee of KES100 per hour. The main supermarket is Carrefour which offers amazing services and prices for all your shopping needs. I usually frequent the mall on Sundays after church with the family. We have lunch there and you wouldn’t believe how difficult it is to choose what to eat because all the great food joints are in the mall. I mostly go for subway. Everyone should try the subway sandwiches at least once in their lifetime. This is the shopping mall to meet all your needs.
