The Shack

Offers some of the burgers in town. After hearing the buzz about this place, my friends and I decided to check it out. The place is located at Nairobi West, Magharibi place. This burger joint is the first thing you see. They have a nice outdoor sitting space that is quite large. It gets quite cold and breezy in the night. Their menu is quite diverse and very affordable. With burgers for as low as KES200. We all got different things form the menu, I got the shack tower which was KES650. The rest got the double shack that goes for KES550 , chicken wings and the shack power house which is a chicken burger that goes for KES700. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We even got some to go. Their patties are so juicy and you can tell they take their time with marinating. The fries here are well seasoned and come with a range of sauces to choose from. Loved everything about this place.

Hands down the best burgers I’ve had in nairobi!! I was never really a fan of burgers…you know how messy it gets. My friends and I heard about this place and we were in the area so we popped by. It’s at Magharibi place, Nairobi West. There is also one in Westlands for guys near those sides. The arrangement is a bit different as it’s right next to the road so the restaurant does not offer much privacy but I promise the food makes up for it. Their service is quite good and the staff are smiley most of the time. I tried the shack burger but ended up requesting for the shack tower which was 750KES with cheese at an extra cost of 50KES. The have the juiciest patties that are so rich in flavour. You really cant get enough. The other people in my party either ordered the double shack which was 600KES or the shack tower. Each burger comes with some fries and a variety of sauces…like the garlic mayo, hot chili, white sauce and cajun. It’s the sauces for me.  The fries are nicely seasoned and salted.Their chicken wings are to die for. You’ll definitely ask for more. For the drinks I had a simple soda with my meal which went for 100 KES. The shack is ideal for group of friends, family with children or even a date. They also have offers for monday for a buy one get one free. Definitely worth it!! 5/5.
