Wildly Coffee

Perhaps my favorite café in Kenya during my time in college. Wildly café is away from the town, located along Langata road at the entrance of Nairobi national park. Here you can grab a coffee, eat a full meal and relax with birds as you enjoy your meal. During weekdays it is usually quiet, but on the weekend, it gets hectic due to the many international and local tourists who are visiting the national park. Although it’s a lovely place, the internet is a bit slow, making it difficult to communicate and work. I have visited the restaurant twice, and the experience I got was exceptional. I am a coffee lover, and with their coffee, I would go back for more every time I get a chance. It’s also a restaurant where you can try their delicious burgers and milkshakes whenever you visit the park.

This is such a great spot to wind off. Whether is during the end of a weekday or on a lazy weekend, this is the place to kick back and relax. It’s located in Langata inside the National Park some 20 minutes from Nairobi CBD and taking a cab costs about kes 600. I went for this event they had, comedy in the wild, which was an absolute success. First, the tickets were cheap. Then they had a lineup of non-mainstream comedians which was a welcome relief. Then the space is fantastic. A lot of open space and clean air, wonderful decor, and comfortable seats. I especially like the mural at the restaurant’s entrance. There was also happy hour happening so two cocktails for the price of one. Occasionally, a baboon or two would pass close by. It’s a place worth checking out.
